The driver drove very well, but I expected a little more information in general.
But it was totally ok. Santana really doesn't bother me. Sorry.

They didn't stick to the itinerary listed on the tour. Also the seat to get up into the car was broken and we had a member with foot problems. We requested two car seats for our two children they only had one and then they shouted at us and said we didn't give them the information when we clearly did because it was on the ticket and I had to argue. She had to drive unsafely with one child without a car seat till the next site in order for me to remind her again to get the second car seat for the other child. The tour operator that we were swapped to because our child was car sick was very good! His name was Lionel and he was very informative and very jolly and cracked a lot of jokes which made the tour fun. There are a lot of hills and windy roads if you are car sick to be aware of. The main views were rushed we didn't have enough time to do the walk. A very long 8 hour tour with rushed sites and lots of driving.

We were picked up from our hotel promptly and the guide kept us informed throughout the tour. The tour is a great overview of the east side of madeira. We enjoyed pico de arieiro particularly s views were spectacular. We would have preferred longer there as we spent an hour and a half in Santana which we felt was too long. Also the rum distillery wasn't particularly interesting either. We preferred the view points. Great tour and would recommend. Gloria was very helpful too.
